Our story begins with a spark of spontaneity—an ad for a job in Greece. Thomas and I, chilling in his room, stumbled upon it online. I was like, "Hey, check this out!" We both looked, smiled, and without overthinking, we simply hit apply, and in a blink, the phone rang. "You're hired!" And just like that, our Greek adventure took flight.

MOM, I’m moving!” I announced at the dinner table. Silence. My mom’s expression was a mix of pride and sadness. She loved the idea but was already feeling the emptiness of my soon-to-be-enpty room. My brother wasted no time. “I call dibs on your room for a gaming setup!”.
Dad, though, was a different story. He was excited but also worried, bombarding me with every article he could find about moving to Greece. “Britt, did you see the article I sent? This guy hated it and came back!” “Britt, have you read this?” It went on and on until the day I left. I reassured him with a smile, “Dad, I’ve got this.”
Finally, the day arrived. Thomas and I boarded the plane, our hearts pounding with excitement. As the plane lifted off, we watched the Netherlands shrink beneath us, feeling like adventurers in a movie.
